EPISODE 2 - Murphysboro Il

Stop number 3 on my 10,000 mile BBQ adventure (but episode 2 for some reason) takes us to the little town of Murphysboro Il, and the Praise the Lard BBQ Cookoff. This was a duel sanctioned contest with both KCBS, and MBN represented. This was Slap Yo Daddy's 1st MBN cookoff and if it wasnt for the great Randy Twyford (www.ulceracresbbq.com) who lent us all the equipment we needed we could not have pulled this off.

A great contest, with some amazing people. I would love to come back and cook this contest one day. Everyone was awesome, and Praise the Lard will always be one of my favorite contests.
